ONE YOUNG WORLD | PERNOD RICARD SCHOLARSHIP 2026 — CAPE TOWN SUMMIT

Important note: this is not an academic scholarship. It’s a fully funded opportunity to attend a major international leadership summit. We’re including it because of the genuine value it offers African changemakers — global exposure, mentorship, and a powerful international network — but if you’re specifically looking for a degree-funding scholarship, this isn’t it.

The One Young World | Pernod Ricard Scholarship identifies ten outstanding young leaders worldwide working to address harmful alcohol consumption, social isolation, and unsafe social environments. Winners join the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa (November 3–6, 2026) as members of the Pernod Ricard delegation, gaining direct mentorship from industry professionals and a platform to influence the company’s social responsibility initiatives.

The scholarship is intentionally broad in its target audience — bartenders, hospitality professionals, public health researchers, social entrepreneurs, and community organisers are all encouraged to apply, as long as their work connects to responsible drinking, social inclusion, or harm reduction.

What It Covers

• Full participation in the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town
• Hotel accommodation in Cape Town, November 2–6, 2026
• Return economy-class flights to and from Cape Town
• All meals during the Summit (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
• Local transport between accommodation and the Summit venue
• Mentorship and consultancy access with Pernod Ricard professionals
• Participation in post-Summit collective thinking sessions

Who Can Apply

• Young leaders of legal drinking age in their country of residence
• Actively involved in initiatives related to responsible drinking, social inclusion, community wellbeing, or harm reduction
• Backgrounds can include hospitality, public health, research, social entrepreneurship, or education
• Must be available to attend the Summit in Cape Town, November 3–6, 2026
• Must commit to participating in post-Summit collaborative sessions
