Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters 2027 in Europe
Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters are international master’s programmes delivered by groups of higher education institutions. Students study at several universities in Europe and, in some programmes, beyond Europe. Selected programmes offer full scholarships to highly ranked applicants worldwide, but scholarship availability and terms differ by programme.
There is no single Erasmus Mundus scholarship application or universal deadline. Applicants apply directly to the institution running their chosen programme and must follow that consortium’s admission, scholarship and document requirements.
Programme and Scholarship Benefits
According to the European Commission, Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters last one to two academic years and carry 60, 90 or 120 ECTS credits. Depending on the programme, students may receive a joint degree issued on behalf of at least two institutions or multiple degrees from institutions in the consortium.
Full scholarships are available on selected programmes. The European Commission says scholarships cover participation costs and contribute to travel, visa expenses and a living allowance. The exact award and selection process are set by each programme, so check the individual course website before assuming a scholarship is available or covers particular costs.
Who Can Apply
Students from around the world may apply. The European Commission’s general eligibility guidance says applicants need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Students in the final year of a bachelor’s programme may also apply if they graduate before the master’s programme begins. Each consortium sets its own academic, language and other entry requirements.
